My Weight Struggles & FINALLY SUCCESS!

Well this is certainly a scary and empowering post! But I really want to be as open and honest as I can!


Ever since I was little I have always struggled with my weight. When I was younger, I learned the word “no” and closed the door to vegetables, fruits and anything that was healthy or good for you. My mom would frequently give in an take me to McDonalds where I would consumer 3 plain burgers, large fries AND a milkshake! My weight didn't get out of control until I had to switch a new middle school, and I was the ONLY new student. Subsequently, I was teased and my life with really sad. As a little 12 & 13 I began to eat and not participate in any sports. I was nicknamed Earthquake, Miss Piggy and my weight got up to 192 POUNDS and a woman's size 18/20 at just 14 years old. It was a time in my life where I was very depressed and had no positivity in my life.

I began to take control of my weight and tried to stop emotional eating, around my junior year in high school, and I even took up tennis. But, I still had no real clear idea of HOW, I just knew I didn't want to be fat, and I wanted everyone who had teased me to eat their words. So I began to loose some weight slowly, but surely.

Not until my freshman year in college did I start to switch my perspective on food. I lost some “baby fat” here and there thanks to intense tennis games and practices in college. But I still wasn't educating myself on how to CORRECTLY lose and maintain a healthy weight. I would go hours without eating because I wasn't hungry and thought it was ok to skip meals and eat one meal a day.


It wasn’t until I was introduced to a company named Shaklee that I finally began to learn how to nurish my body and I began to take Vitalizer and have a Cinch Shake a day. And last October is when I really kicked it into gear!


In October 2009, my friend Ashley (who lost 39 lbs on Cinch!) began her 2nd Cinch Program. And I jumped in fat ass first with both feet running! I worked out & supplemented 2 meals a day with Cinch Shakes along with added Energizing Soy Protein & Physique, a post-work out drink that helps to rebuild muscle so you won’t be sore after work outs.

And I have had incredible physical & mental results. I feel healthy, my moods are better, I sleep better and I have been able to transform my body completely!




Here is a timeline of my results! As you can see MAJOR changes have occurred ! I'm not at my goal yet but here are my results so far :)
